Microsoft Access - Microsoft Data Engine (MSDE) - Microsoft SQL Servers
Our associates will work closely with your staff to create a database structure that will efficiently provide reliable data storage and access. A database has two parts. The first is the data storage structure, known as the back end. The second is the presentation of the data to the user, known as the front end. Depending on your database requirements, we provide the three following solutions.
Microsoft Access
Microsoft Access can be both the back end and the front end. This unique ability has made it Microsoft's most widely used database. This is often the most cost effective and best solution for small to medium sized businesses. It can also be used for back end web applications.
Microsoft Data Engine (MSDE)
This is basically a low performance version of Microsoft's SQL server line. It has approximately the same performance as Microsoft Access. but it is only a back end. However, it has the same capabilities and programming interface as SQL servers.
Microsoft SQL Servers
The high performance solution. This is the best solution for medium and large offices where high server capacity and loading are required. These servers offer redundancy and scalability.
MySQL
MySQL (pronounced "My-Ess-Kew-El") is a free, open source database, commonly employed with most of the popular server-side scripting languages including PHP, JSP, and ASP.
